Happy 5 Months Tyler!

It's hard to believe it's only been 5 months since he arrived, I can hardly remember what life was like without him. So what has Tyler been up to, you ask? I would be happy to show you...

Rolling over, both from his back to stomach and stomach to back as he is seen in the middle of doing here...

Playing with his feet...Eating his feet...

Eating his hands...sometimes at the same time as his feet...
Getting stronger...
Sitting up taller...
Trying to get in shape to look good for the ladies...he just can't lose that baby fat...
And teething, notice the drool rash around his mouth
Looking adorable...
Laughing and babbling a lot...
Getting even more handsome...
And being goofy with his tongue out a lot...

And so that's the life of an average 5 month old. Look at those healthy thighs! I have a mini giant here. He is not even 5 months old yet and had just about outgrown all his 3-6 month clothes. Maybe we should have named him Little John after all. He is just so cute and sweet, I can't kiss and hug him enough. He is a great baby. He has had a rough week this past week though, he is very close to getting some teeth it seems. He wants to bite me and everything else and cries quite a bit for long periods lately and has trouble going and staying alseep but Hylands teething tablets seem to be the only thing that help. Hopefully they will have come through before I post again...I can only hope. Poor baby. (Poor me). :)

Same old, same old

Tyler likes his toys more now and is getting bored more easily, I am having to keep him entertained.

Not much new with us. John is still gone, he is in South Korea until the end of June. Madison's birthday party was fun. Tball is almost over and Madison still doesn't care for it. Tyler isn't doing anything new in the past few weeks, besides getting more personality and teething. Teething is pretty hard on him right now, and he is fussy quite a bit more than usual and because of it I am having a really hard time getting him to sleep most times. We don't have renters for our house anymore, it didn't work out, so I am not sure when we are moving. When John gets home we will get everything ready and figured out. We still have to do some repairs to the house and get the whole house painted inside. Tyler's dr.appt is until June, but I measured and weighed him the other day and he was 20 lbs and 27 inches. Madison is doing so much better with her herbal supplements, there is a definetely a difference when she doesn't take them. She hasn't been driving me crazy like normal, she was been pretty good for the most part, she has her moments like every kid. I guess that is all I have for now...I know, I know...no novel this time. ;)

The Hat

Tyler looks soooo cute in this hat, but it's gotten too small too fast! I have been wanting to do his pics in it and took too long so I did them today anyway, even if it's a little small. He looks good in green and khaki. It was not a good time of day to take pics, but I did it anyway. Too many dreary days lately.

Pottery Painting

I took Madison to this place today, it was okay, she said she had fun but it sure was expensive, wouldn't do it again. We could do it at home way cheaper. I tried to do their handprints on the plate, but Tyler's just kept looking like a big blob so we did feet instead.

Madison's Birthday

So John may be gone for a while the weeks surrounding Madison's birthday, and he doesn't want to miss her party so we may have it early, 3 weeks early...this saturday. I will know for sure tomorrow. Here is what her invite looks like, without the personal info since this is a public site. And then we will have a slumber party for her actual birthday, just me, poor Tyler, and a whole bunch of crazy girls...yep, I've lost it. So you people know who you are, if I havn't invited you, you are invited, to the party that is :). It's just going to be a small thing in Lindale, so I am not officially inviting everyone up here around dallas to come bc I don't expect you to make the drive, but of course you are more than welcome.
In other news, John started his new job last Monday, so far so good. He will be traveling quite a bit, and South Korea is one of his first big trips coming soon....EEK! Yep, I said Korea. I know, SO FAR!!! He is in Louisiana this week training. We have renters for our house and hope to move July 1st is everything works out but for some reason I am expecting everything to fall through because it just seems to good to be true. I would love for Madison to start school in Lindale instead of Terrell and being in east texas some of the summer while John is gone all the time would be really nice so the kids can all play together a lot. We are going to rent a while until we pay off some things and then plan to buy or even better, build after we find some land. Everything is going great right now, kids are good, we are good, life is good.
